– About the job –
As a Mushroom Farm Harvester, you will be hand-harvesting mushrooms from our developing rooms, guaranteeing ideal picking rates, punnet and plate loads, mushroom quality and presentation. – About the Mushroom Farm –
At the Leckford Estate we reasonably develop and pick first quality crisp mushrooms each day, throughout the entire year. We have 16 developing rooms explicitly made for mushroom crop generation. We produce the best quality Chestnut mushrooms, including pre-pressed items and free items. Mushrooms are gathered at various occasions of development creating distinctive product offerings.
Our harvest comprises of five lines altogether: Chestnut Cups, Portabellini, Portabella, South of England and 2kg free Chestnut Cups. The fundamental duties of our Mushroom Farm Harvesters are:

Right cutting of the stalk. Quality evaluating of the mushrooms
Evaluating item introduction.
Evaluating the right punnet/plate loads
Observing and keeping up a high picking rate
Keeping the picking territory free of flotsam and jetsam. Cleaning and stripping the beds
Adaptable and versatile and ready to assist in different zones of the Mushroom Farm and the Estate if and when required
Demonstrating tender loving care in all parts of their work
Chipping away at their own drive and solo for brief periods inside the working day
