We are presently in search of an Agriculture Crop Farm Supervisor to work for our unique client in Abu Dhabi:
Directs and coordinates employee actions, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, payroll, and recordkeeping.
Contracts with farmers or independent owners for raising of crops or for administration of crop production.
Coordinates growing actions with those of engineering, equipment upkeep, packing houses, and different associated departments.
Analyzes market circumstances to find out acreage allocations.
Confers with purchasers and arranges on the market of crops.
Document data, such as manufacturing, farm management practices, and parent inventory, and prepares financial and operational reports.
Determines procedural adjustments in drying, grading, storage, and shipment for better effectivity and accuracy.
Analyzes soil to find out type and amount of fertilizer required for optimum manufacturing.
Inspects equipment to guarantee absolute functioning.
Inspects orchards and fields to find out maturity dates of crops or to estimate potential crop injury from weather.
Plans and directs the development and manufacturing of hybrid plant varieties with high yield or illness and insect resistant traits.
Purchases equipment, tools, and supplies, reminiscent of tractors, seed, fertilizer, and chemicals.
Hires, discharges, transfers, and promotes employees, implement security laws and interprets policies.
Negotiates with financial institution officers to acquire credit from the financial institution.
Evaluates monetary statements and makes price range proposals.
National Diploma in Agribusiness Management
Certificate in Rural Staff Management (or comparable when employing staff)
Diploma in Agriculture
An agricultural science/management Bachelor’s Degree
